Police Seek Suspects in Two Weekend Robberies

Victims reported robberies Saturday evening and early Sunday in Glen Burnie.

Saturday, May 18

Shortly after 6 p.m., five suspects–three males and two females–approached several women leaving the Marley Station Mall, on the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway, and began yelling at them from a vehicle.

The five suspects exited the vehicle, ran toward the women and assaulted them. A bystander eventually scared off the suspects, one of whom fled with a victim's purse.

The group left in a 2011 Acura TL, according to police.

Arriving officers searched the immediate area, but failed to locate the suspects.

Sunday, May 19

Shortly after 2 a.m., a man invited two other men into his hotel room, at the Extended Stay Hotel, on the 100 block of Chesapeake Center Court. The two men then assaulted the victim, taking money and personal items before fleeing.

Arriving officers searched the immediate area, but failed to locate the suspects.

An ambulance transported the victim to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for injuries sustained in the incident.
