Police Seize $1,200 of Marijuana in Glen Burnie Drug Bust

Police arrested five people after finding drugs in a Glen Burnie home late Friday.

Anne Arundel County police arrested five people after a drug bust at a Glen Burnie home yielded nearly 60 grams of marijuana Friday night, according to a department press release.

At approximately 10 p.m., patrol and narcotics officers executed a drug warrant at a residence on Jackson Avenue, in response to complaints of drug use by neighbors, according to police.

Officers seized 59.94 grams of marijuana—with a value of $1,200—along with digital scales and $830 in cash, according to the release.

Tyrone Eugene Johnson, 22, and William Ashley Johnson, 26, both of Glen Burnie, were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Damien Darnell Thorne, 25, of Forestville, Aisha Naeemah Childs, 29, of Largo and Antoine Boyea Thorn, 27, of Severn, were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
