Police Seize 5 Types of Drugs, 2 Shotguns

Lawrence William Kolitas, 35, was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of numerous drugs with the intent to distribute, according to police.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man Tuesday night after executing a warrant related to possible drug activity at his home.

Lawrence William Kolitas, 35, of Glen Burnie was charged with possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, suboxone, Xanax and methadone, possession of somatropin and other drug and gun charges.

Police executed the warrant in the 300 block of Beaghan Drive at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to a press release.

During the search, detectives seized:

  • 435 suspected oxycodone pills (assorted milligrams)
  • 108 suspected suboxone films (assorted milligrams)
  • 98.5 suspected suboxone pills (8 milligrams)
  • 154 suspected methadone pills (10 milligrams)
  • 42.25 suspected Xanax pills (2 milligrams)
  • 100 international units of suspected somatropin (human growth hormone) 
  • $9,984 in cash
  • two shotguns
