Police: Suspect Robbed Glen Burnie High's Store

A male suspect robbed a Glen Burnie convenience store Wednesday morning, police said.

According to a police press release, Anne Arundel County officers responded to the High's located in the 7800 block of Parke West Drive when they received notice of a "holdup alarm." While officers were on their way to the store, it was confirmed that the incident was a robbery.

Officers spoke with employees and were told that a male suspect entered the store and attempted to make a purchase. Once the clerk opened the register, the suspect announced a holdup. He did not display a weapon or imply he had one, police said.

Police said the suspect fled in a small, white, four-door sedan. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
