Glen Burnie Patch: What is your favorite thing about school?
Makayla Green: The kids that are here are very nice to me. I went to private school since kindergarten. This is my first year here and everyone helped me and was really nice to me.

Glen Burnie Patch: What's something you learned recently?
Makayla: How to divide a larger number into a smaller number. I think it's neat. It's really pretty easy.
Glen Burnie Patch: What do you like to do when you're not at school?
Makayla: I have a friend and I go to her house and play with her and her little sister. If I can't go, I watch TV or play with my animals ... I have cats and dogs and gerbils and hermits crabs.

Glen Burnie Patch: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Makayla: I want to be a veterinarian. I love to play with animals and think it would be cool to help them.
Glen Burnie Patch: How is going to public school different than going to private school?
Makayla: Here you're not learning about the Bible. That's the biggest difference.
