Angela Copes, 17, is the president of the National Honor Society at Glen Burnie High School.

Patch caught up with student Angela Copes, 17, a senior at the school, in December. The Glen Burnie resident and president of Glen Burnie High's National Honor Society (NHS) chapter spoke about the many community service projects the group has been involved with this year and what life is like at the school.
We stopped her to ask .
Glen Burnie Patch: What do you get from working on community service projects with the National Honor Society?
Angela Copes: I like how it's bringing the community together with the school. In past years, I don't feel like it's been strong and we're trying to get that back. I just like being involved with people.
