Glen Burnie Patch: What do you like about Marley Middle School?
Mark Novak: I think the teachers are pretty cool because they try to help you out a lot and make classes fun.

Glen Burnie Patch: What is your favorite subject at school? What's something you learned recently?
Mark: I'd have to say geometry is my favorite subject and it's because we learned this thing called sine and cosine recently. [It was] easy, very easy.
Glen Burnie Patch: Do you participate in any extracurricular activities?
Mark: I'm in concert band. I play the bass clarinet. I do karate. It's been about four-and-a-half years. I got my black belt in October.

Glen Burnie Patch: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Mark: I'm not really sure. Maybe an artist.
Glen Burnie Patch: What do you like to do in your free time?
Mark: Video games, ride my bike. My favorite video game is Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
