Yelena McPheron: I like the teachers. They're really supportive and nice and patient.

Glen Burnie Patch: What is your favorite subject at school? What's something you learned recently?
Yelena: My favorite subject is language arts. Recently I learned about what a bandwagon is.

Glen Burnie Patch: Do you participate in any extracurricular activities?
Yelena: I play soccer. I just started. We alternate [positions].

Glen Burnie Patch: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Yelena: I don't really know yet. But I'm hoping it will be something with language arts and social studies.

Glen Burnie Patch: What do you like to do in your free time?
Yelena: I like to hang out with friends. And to read a book and listen to music. [I like] Wait Till Helen Comes. And I like pop music ... [by] One Direction.
