Q&A: Richard Henry Lee Elementary Student Micaiah Terry
Micaiah Terry, 10, is a fifth-grader at Richard Henry Lee.

Patch caught up with fifth-grader Micaiah Terry, 10, during his lunch break in January at .
I stopped him to ask .
Glen Burnie Patch: What is your favorite thing about school?
Micaiah Terry: It's probably either physical education ... math and social studies. Math gives me a chance to solve problems. You've just got to think about it and then you just solve it. [I like] social studies because you get to learn about the past and how it was back then and how it's different right now.

Glen Burnie Patch: What's something that you learned recently?
Micaiah: In math, we were learning about the least common multiples. So we had to list the multiples and everything and we had to find the same multiple. If there was more than one, we had to find the least one. And that was kind of easy.
Glen Burnie Patch: What do you like about this school?
Micaiah: A lot of things. It's a nice environment. There's a lot of electronics like SMART boards and microphones we get to use. When we read, we get to use a microphone. And we always do hands-on activities. And another thing I like about it, the guidance counselors, whenever you have a problem you talk with them about it. They understand [and] they solve the problems.

Glen Burnie Patch: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Micaiah: Either a football player or a basketball player. But if that doesn't work out, I want to be a researcher for wars. I like learning about [wars] because some wars are left unknown and I want to get the information about them that people don't know.
Glen Burnie Patch: What do you like to do for fun?
Micaiah: I come home and watch TV and play on my Kindle or read a book. And after that I usually go to [football or basketball] practice. My favorite [show] is probably this show called Person of Interest. I like to read books by Jeff Kinney ... Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
