Readers' Choice: Glen Burnie St. Patrick's Celebrations
Where is the best place in Glen Burnie to celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

When I was a child, my mother would dress me from head to toe in green on St. Patrick's Day.
I always thought it was to ensure that I didn't get pinched—how did that tradition begin, by the way?—but it wasn't until I was in third or fourth grade that she let me in on the reason for participating so fully in St. Patrick's Day.
"If anyone asks you why you have on so much green just tell them about your great-great-great-great grandmother who was full-blooded Irish with flaming red hair that was long enough that she could sit on it," she said.
