3. A Glen Burnie man convicted of first-degree murder for stabbing Jasmine Sherel Adams, 29, to death in August 2018 will serve 40 years in prison, an Anne Arundel County judge has ruled, according to reporter Lilly Price. (Baltimore Sun)

The unemployment rate in the Glen Burnie area has seen improvement since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic and there was some improvement from March to April, according to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.
