SHA Closing Lanes on 295 North Thursday Night

The State Highway Administration will close lanes of traffic on the Baltimore Washington Parkway at the Nursery Road Bridge on Thursday night for repairs.

The State Highway Administration (SHA) will close lanes of traffic on the Baltimore Washington Parkway on Thursday night to repair the Nursery Road Bridge.

SHA will reduce northbound Baltimore Washington Parkway to one lane of traffic as drivers approach the Nursery Road overpass at 9 p.m., according to a press release. At 11 p.m., workers will close all lanes for periods of 15 minutes so they replace a large steel beam.

All lanes are expected to be open by 5 a.m. and, weather permitting, the entire project is expected to be finished later this summer.
