1. A fight broke out between two men inside the Glen Burnie Walmart Saturday afternoon. Anne Arundel County Police officers responded to the store in the 6700 block of Chesapeake Center Drive about 3:45 p.m. According to witnesses, the fight started in the store, then moved to the parking lot. (Patch)

2. A man who tried helping Home Depot employees stop a shoplifter was stabbed during the altercation. The incident happened Saturday afternoon at Home Depot, 601 E. Ordinance Road. (Patch)

3. A 54-year-old Baltimore man was killed Saturday at an MDOT Transportation State Highway Administration construction site near Glen Burnie. Michael T. Spencer Sr. was driving an MDOT SHA truck and had gotten out of his parked vehicle when he was pinned against the trailer of his truck by a concrete barrier that an excavator had moved from the shoulder of the highway onto the truck's trailer.
