VIDEO: Slade Students Discuss Ash Wednesday, Lent
Patch stopped by Monsignor Slade Catholic School on Ash Wednesday to speak with students about what that day means to them—and what they're giving up for Lent.
Students at spoke with Patch on Ash Wednesday about the sacrifices made by Jesus and what it means to them as Christians.
They also spoke of the importance of sacrifice and the things they planned to give up for the 40 days of Lent—ranging from sweets to video games to not talking back to their parents.
Do you participate in Lent? What are you giving up this year? Tell Patch in the comments.
