When/Where: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, at the Glen Burnie Town Center intersection of Crain Highway and Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.

Why Go: Everyone has winter clothes and coats that are old or no longer fit. Clean out your closet while helping those in need.

When/Where: 7 p.m. Friday, at the , 623 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park.

Why Go: There will be a haunted house for all ages plus, new this year, is Creature Feature from 6:30-9 p.m. for younger or more timid children.

Cost: Haunted House is $8 for adults, $5 for children. Creature Feature is $10 per child, free for kids under 3.

3. Fall Festival at Gambrills General Store and David's Natural Market

When/Where: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, at Gambrills General Store, 865 Annapolis Rd., Gambrills.

Why Go: Free food samples, vendors, special sales and activities for the kids, including a moon bounce. This is the unofficial grand opening of the Gambrills General Store.

Cost: Free

When/Where: Fall Festival from 4-7p.m. and Boo Bash from 7-8:30 p.m Friday at , 26 Magothy Beach Rd., Pasadena

Why Go: Two great events in one place. The Fall Festival features a moon bounce, Halloween walk and vendors. The Boo Bash takes place in glowing themed pools and features an in-water treasure hunt.

Cost: $1 for Fall Festival, $3 for Boo Bash (free for adults)

5. "Unveiling the Mystique of the Muslim Woman"

When/Where: 10 a.m. Saturday, Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Parkway, Arnold

Why Go: Event includes professional presentations, discussions and cultural immersion through art, food, music and fashion.
