Woman's Club Hosts Linthicum Summer Concert Series

The General Federation of Women's Clubs Woman's Club of Linthicum Heights 32nd annual summer concert series got under way last Sunday with a performance from Pet Rock.

The concerts will be held at 6 p.m. every Sunday in Linthicum Park on Benton Avenue.

Here is the list of bands:

• July 1: Sweet Lime & Passion
• July 8: Sixth Generation
• July 15: Appaloosa
• July 22: Eastport Oyster Boys
• July 29: Bayside Big Band
• Aug. 5: J.R. Booker
• Aug. 12: Crabtowne Big Band

The series is arraigned by the Performing Arts Committee and is supported by a grant from the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County.

Residents are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food and nonalcoholic drinks. Concerts are canceled if it rains.
