3 Northbridge Men Charged After Heroin, Fentanyl Investigation

The men were arrested on Nov. 18 after a six-month investigation involving multiple local police departments.

BLACKSTONE, MA — Three Northbridge men were arrested in late November following a six-month investigation into heroin and fentanyl sales in Blackstone, according to local police.

According to Blackstone police, officials got a tip several months ago about opioid sales in the town. Blackstone, Northbridge and Hopkinton police helped with the investigation, along with a Worcester Drug Enforcement Agency task force.

Police raided a Northbridge apartment on Nov. 18 and arrested the three men. Police also seized about 30 grams of heroin and fentanyl.

The men charged include:

  • Bryam Calderon Portes, 21: trafficking in 18 grams or more of heroin; trafficking 10 grams or more of fentanyl; and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
  • Albert Alzono Portes, 21: trafficking in 18 grams or more of heroin; trafficking 10 grams or more of fentanyl; conspiracy to violate drug laws; and four counts of distribution of a Class A drug.
  • Marlon Brando Calderon Portes, 24: five counts of distribution of a Class A drug.
