1. We've all seen it and probably all smiled and got a happy feeling seeing a dog enjoy the breeze of the open road from the driver's lap. Usually, it's a smaller breed, but we've seen dogs as big as German shepherds as well. On Milford Patch, readers are debating . 3. Monday is also Patriots Day in Massachusetts. Ever wonder where the shot heard 'round the world was really fired? Lexingtonians say the Lexington Green; Concordians say in Concord. Attend the re-enactments Monday and report back to us with your take on it. Better yet, wake your kids and take them with you and have them report back to us. Yes, 5 a.m. is an early hour, but the pancake breakfasts directly after are so worth the early morning rising.

4. Do you want to eat pink slime? Columnist Lisa Vasile did some research for you and has a list of stores and restaurants in Milford and what they carry. I know I'll check it out before I go out to dinner next!
5. April 8-14 is National Library Week. We hope that residents will use this time to introduce their children to the wonderful resource in town, or even reaquaint themselves with its uses.
