Annual Milford Pumpkin Stroll Canceled

The annual Halloween event and fundraiser couldn't be held safely in 2020 due to coronavirus, organizers said.

MILFORD, MA — An annual Halloween tradition in Milford stretching back years is canceled this year due to rising coronavirus cases in the area.

The annual Milford Pumpkin Stroll typically happens the last weekend in October and features a carved jack-o-lantern contest, costumes and food. The event also serves as a donation drive for the local food pantry.

Organizer Michael Shain said the event could not be conducted safely this year. Last year's stroll was held indoors at DCH Toyota of Milford.
