Barbara E. (Peterson) Cenedella: Milford Public Schools Retiree

Milford resident Barbara E. (Peterson) Cenedella, 81, died Nov. 15, after an illness.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Eugene A. Cenedella.

Born and raised in Milford, Cenedella was a 1950 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She went on to work at New England Telephone and Telegraph before taking a job as a teacher’s aide in the Milford Public School System. She retired from Woodland Elementary School in 1999.

She loved the beach and her vacations on Cape Cod as well as bowling and traveling with her bowling league.

Visitation will take place Thursday, Nov. 22, from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at Edwards Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday at 9 a.m.
