Change Coming To Milford Recycling Services

Simple Recycling, which collects unwanted textiles, will stop picking up items at the curb in July.

MILFORD, MA — A major change is coming to Milford's recycling services.

Starting July 5, the Simple Recycling service will stop collecting items curbside. The service, known for its pink bags, will start picking up items by appointment only and from the doorstep, according to the Milford Board of Health.

Simple Recycling collects unwanted textiles, like clothing, bedding and shoes. Milford is not changing its main recycling program, which collects items like paper, aluminum cans and other similar items. Those items can still be left at the curb.
