MILFORD, MA — It's a humid and gloomy Thursday, and while the wet weather isn't too fun, it may be the last of the summer heat we'll feel before a cool, clear weekend.

Just as communities across the MetroWest and Worcester prepare for school to start again, a Milford teacher was charged with possession of child pornography. Vincent Kiejzo was a second grade teacher in Milford, according to his social media profiles. A search of his home turned up a device that contained thousands of pornographic images of minors, according to court documents.

Department of Homeland Security agents and Milford police went to Vincent Kiejzo's Joan Circle home on Wednesday to serve a search warrant. Inside the home, they found a thumb drive attached to a television in the home.

Northborough's Annual Applefest Will Continue, With Changes

Northborough's Annual Applefest is still on for this year, with quite a few changes.

The coronavirus pandemic has kept the event from incorporating some classic staples like the gala, fireworks, parade and street fair. All isn't lost as events like the Northborough Junior Woman's Club apple pie sales are still on as well as the Friends of the Northborough Library Book Sale. Most of the food sales are on a pre-order and pickup basis. The book sale will be on the front lawn of the library.
