Construction Company To Pay $20K Over Wage Violations: Patch PM

MILFORD, MA — It's a sunny and relatively warm Thursday in the MetroWest, but colder wet weather is waiting around the corner for us on Friday and Saturday.

On Wednesday, Attorney General Maura Healey announced Three local companies — including one based in Milford — will pay over $636,000 in fines for failing to pay the state's prevailing wage during the construction of the new Sutton police headquarters. Milford-based WF North Lion Inc. will pay a $20,145 fine.

Also announced on Wednesday were the updated COVID-19 town numbers. Shrewsbury and Milford were part of the 24 communities added to the state's list of "high risk" COVID-19 communities.

Police Still Looking For Missing Holden Man

Local and state police are on the lookout for a Holden man who hasn't been seen or heard from in about a week.

Randall "Randy" Cole, 32, went for a walk on Oct. 8, but never returned home, according to Holden police. Cole lives along Shrewsbury Street in Holden near the Worcester line, police said.
