Coronavirus Vaccine Hub Coming To Milford Area

The Uxbridge site will serve a dozen towns in southeast Worcester County and Norfolk County.

MILFORD, MA — A former middle school in Uxbridge will serve as a regional coronavirus vaccine hub for a dozen towns in southeastern Worcester County and eastern Norfolk County, state officials announced Wednesday.

The COVID-19 vaccine hub will open next week at McCloskey Middle School, 62 Capron St., Uxbridge. The site will be slightly smaller than mass vaccine sites at the Natick Mall and Gillette Stadium, doling out about 750 vaccines per day.

The site will serve residents in Uxbridge, Northbridge, Mendon, Douglas, Bellingham, Blackstone, Hopedale, Millville, Milford, Oxford, Upton and Sutton, according to the state.

There are only two sites in Milford to get the vaccine currently, according to the state vaccine website: Milford Regional Medical Center and the CVS near the intersection of Routes 109 and 16.
