Courtyard by Marriott Milford Re-Opens With Major Renovations

The grand re-opening celebration is hosted by Milford High School's Hospitality and Tourism Management students.

MILFORD, MA—It's a perfect midpoint stop between Boston, Providence and Worcester, and the Courtyard by Marriott Milford is looking to attract even more visitors with a major renovation to its property.

The hotel now boasts new carpet, paint, wallpaper and various fixtures including lamps and chairs. Designers went with a bold decor that features modern accents. Other renovations include new "casually cool" spaces where guests can hang out and work with high-speed internet and lots of power outlets.

New flooring, paint and wallpaper in the two meeting rooms were also added at the hotel.

"With nearly 1,250 square feet combined, the flexible event spaces are ideal for business engagements, including seminars, brainstorming sessions and interviews," said the announcement. "Intimate social events including, receptions, showers and soirees also are welcome. Innovative catering and contemporary audiovisual equipment are available to enhance guests’ presentations, while attentive customer service from Courtyard’s professional event staff will ensure a seamless event down to the last detail."

The Bistro has also been outfitted with new carpet, furniture and pendant fixtures. Open for breakfast and dinner, Courtyard’s restaurant specializes in American cuisine, as well as healthier alternatives.

On Thursday, May 3, join hotel staff and the local Milford High School’s Hospitality and Tourism
Management students as they host a re-opening celebration event to launch the recent renovation at the
Courtyard by Marriott Milford. Open to the local community from 4:30-6:30 p.m., attendees enjoy a
tropical themed evening with live music, food and drinks and a chance to win raffle and silent auction items in support of Marriott International’s national benefactor; the Children's Miracle Network.

The celebration, according to the announcement, capstones the students from the Milford High School Hospitality and Tourism Management Program internship in partnership with the Courtyard by Marriott Milford for the 2017/2018 school year.
