MILFORD, MA — It looks like Milford will get its D'Angelo sub shop back.

The Milford D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches shop along East Main Street closed abruptly in November 2018 along with dozens of others around the state. The closure coincided with scores of Papa Gino's closings.

On Monday night, the Milford Board of Selectmen approved a new victualler license for the D'Angelo's sub shop to reopen at the 195 East Main St. location. The restaurant is not ready to open just yet, according to town documents, because of pending fire department inspections.
