Final List: Who's Running In The Milford 2021 Town Election

MILFORD, MA — The list of candidates running in the 2021 Milford town election is final following the filing deadline on Tuesday.

There will be five competitive races in 2021 for seats on the Milford School Committee, Board of Assessors, Board of Library Trustees, the Parks Commission and the open Town Moderator spot.

The School Committee is the most crowded field this year with five candidates vying for three seats. Two incumbents — Meghan Hornberger and Christopher Wilson — will try to keep their seats.

The Select Board race to replace retiring member William Kingkade attracted only one candidate. That means longtime former health agent Paul Mazzuchelli is almost assured a win on Election Day April 6.

There's also one wild card in the 2021 election. Vernon Grove Cemetery Trustees member Mary Anne Fiske is not running for reelection, and no one signed up to run for her seat — that means a write-in candidate could take the slot.

Polls will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 6. The last day to register to vote in the town election is March 17.
