Frances C. Murphy: Milford High Graduate, Nursing Assistant

Frances C. Murphy, 79, died Nov. 11.

A 1952 graduate of Milford High School, Murphy worked at W.T Grant Company and The Fair in Milford. She earned her certified nursing assistant license in the 1980s and worked in local nursing homes until she retired in 1992.

Murphy enjoyed quilting, gardening and traveling with her husband, John Murphy, who died in 2008.

A visiting hour will be held at Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. with a memorial service taking place at 10 a.m.
