Help Disabled Milford Teen Win Bike, Enjoy Freedom

James has spastic quadriplegic Cp, hydrocephalus, seizures, cortical blindness , global delays and heart and lung issues.

A Milford Patch Facebook user reached out to us to help spread the word:

Hi, here is a link for a contest I entered my disabled son in. My son lives with my daughter and I in Milford and he will be 16 Saturday. He was born prematurely and has spastic quadriplegic Cp, hydrocephalus, seizures, cortical blindness , global delays and heart and lung issues. Despite all his issues he is a really happy kid who lives going places and doing things. James had a bike that he got from the Knights of Columbus about 10 years ago that he outgrew and I gave to another disabled child so he could enjoy the freedom and self confidence that these kids have on a bike. I am trying to generate votes only(no money) as this contest gives a bike to a kid with the most votes. He has 800 now and the contest ends March 4th. The leaders have 2200 plus votes now so we are way behind but I was hoping you could post this and get the word out that we want to get a bike for James. Thank you

Nominate James to win a bike!
