Joseph Daltorio, Milford High Grad, Dies at 72

Daltorio was an optical technician, and a beer and wine crafter.

MILFORD, MA — Joseph M. Daltorio, 72, of Bellingham, where he has lived for 29 years, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016, surrounded by his family at home. He was the husband of Juanita “Dee” Clark for 29 years.
Born in Milford, he was the son of the late Michael A. and Mary (Cendela) Daltorio, he was a graduate of Milford High School, class of 1961.

Mr. Daltorio had worked as an optical technician for 45 years, retiring in 2009 from Boston Piezo-Optics in Bellingham.

An active member of the Bellingham Lions Club, he was a member of the Maspenock Rod and Gun club and CMDART. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, cooking, coin collecting, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid beer and wine crafter.

Visiting hours at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St., Milford, will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016, from 9-11AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
