Large Milford Apartment Complex Proposal To Get December Hearing
The Stone Ridge development would add nearly 300 apartments at a parcel off of Route 85 near I-495.

MILFORD, MA — Milford residents will get a chance to review plans for a large new apartment complex planned for a vacant piece of land along I-495.
The Burlington-based Gutierrez Company is seeking permits to build a 296-unit apartment complex near the intersection of Route 85 and I-495. The complex is being called Stone Ridge Phase II.
The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on the developer's special permit requests on Dec. 2.

Stone Ridge Phase II would encompass two five-story buildings off of Deer Street. The development has also been approved as a 40B project, with about 75 of the total units set aside as affordable.
The Gutierrez Company was also behind a plan to build a 172-unit apartment development next to the Stone Ridge II site. That property was sold to San Diego developer Fairfield Residential, which still plans to move ahead with the apartment complex.
