Lots Of Coronavirus Vaccine Appointments Nearby: Milford Health

Milford health officials say there are plenty of appointments at the Southern Worcester County Regional COVID-19 vaccine site in Uxbridge.

MILFORD, MA — It wasn't too long ago that appointments for coronavirus vaccines in Massachusetts were far and few between. Now, health officials want locals to know that there are plenty of open appointments in the area.

According to Milford health officials, there were at least 1,000 appointments available at the Southern Worcester County Regional COVID-19 Vaccination Site in Uxbridge as of Sunday evening. As on Monday morning, there were still dozens of appointments open each day, according to the state's vaccine website.

Anyone over age 16 in Massachusetts is now eligible to get a vaccine. As of Sunday, about 2.6 million state residents were fully vaccinated. But a total of 6.2 million vaccine does have been given out already. There are about 7.1 million people living in the state in total.

Apart from the vaccine site in Uxbridge, there are other sites in Milford offering vaccine appointments, including three CVS locations (Route 109, Fortune Boulevard and South Main Street), the Prospect Street Walgreens, the Stop & Shop along Route 109 and Milford Central Pharmacy.
