Major New Pet Store Opening In Milford

MILFORD, MA—Milford pet parents have a new place to shop for their beloved furry friends come this weekend when the newest Pet Supplies Plus opens at 124 Medway Road, Suite 5.

The new Pet Supplies Plus store hosts a grand opening event from 9 am. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 24.

The store’s team is inviting families and pet lovers to a grand opening celebration that includes sweepstakes, sales and fun for kids and pets. Sweepstakes will be held throughout the grand opening weekend, and will give neighbors a shot at a free, one-year supply of Purina dog or cat food.

Additionally, free scratch cards between the amounts of $5-$50 will be given out on Saturday, June 23. On Sunday, June 24, the first 100 neighbors who enter the store will receive a coupon for a free small bag of dog or cat food – valid on any brand in the store. Finally, Pet Supplies Plus Milford will be offering free nail trims for pets on Saturday and Sunday.

The store offers a broad range of food, including premium items and basic grocery products, as well as a wide variety of pet toys, equipment, fish and critters. Additionally, the new neighborhood pet store will carry an extensive collection of "Made in the USA" pet consumables, including wet and dry food, treats, rawhide, chews and more - all offered at great prices and with a price-match guarantee. The store also features a self-service dog wash and a carry out service to help neighbors carry heavy purchases.

Shoppers can take advantage of the free-to-join Preferred Pet Club, which offers members regular coupons and monthly specials – resulting big savings.

Jack Berry and Harry Shallop opened the first Pet Supplies Plus store in Redford, MI, in 1988. Since then, the neighborhood-style pet store has become a household name in 33 states.
