Maria Davila, Longtime Milford Resident, Dies At 71

MILFORD, MA—Obituary via Edwards Memorial Funeral Home: Mrs. Maria L. (Montealegre) Davila, 71, of Milford MA, died Friday (December 29, 2017) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of Juan Davila.

Mrs. Davila was born in Cartago, Columbia the daughter of the late Juan and the late Ana (Lujan) Montealegre. She attended school in Columbia as a young girl, graduating from high school.

Mrs. Davila was first employed as a nurse’s aide while residing in Columbia and continued that work while residing here in the United States. She had been a resident of Milford MA for over thirty years.

Relatives & friends are invited to extend their condolences to her family on Saturday (January 6th) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow and private committal services will be held at the convenience of the family.
