Milford Athlete Chosen Out Of Thousands For MIAA Award

This Milford student athlete is chosen out of approximately 400,000 for the honor and recognition.

MILFORD, MA—Milford Senior Student-Athlete Kate Lobisser has been awarded the Sportsmanship and Leadership Award from the MIAA, which chooses one student athlete in the state to be recognized for their efforts in leadership, sportsmanship and overall citizenship in their school/community.

The student athlete is chosen out of approximately 400,000 for the honor and recognition.

Coach Linda Zachilli, Coach Tim Walsh, Coach TJ Dolliver, Coach Tammy Webber, and Athletic Director Peter Boucher collaborated to craft Kate's nomination.

"We are thrilled and proud that she was selected as the singular MA student-athlete who personifies what it means to be an amazing leader, great ambassador of sportsmanship, and fantastic community presence and citizen," said Boucher. "Kate's nomination will now move on to the national level as the MA representative in the NFHS organization."
