Milford Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Milford and Massachusetts State Police arrested a Milford man on Thursday on charges related to child pornography.
Arthur Fernandes, 50, was charged with possession of child pornography and dissemination of child pornography after Milford police detectives and the Massachusetts State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit executed a search warrant at 38 Forrest St. on Thursday, Nov. 6, Milford police said in a statement.

The state police unit had received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding the Fernandes’s possible possession of child pornography. After searching his residence, police found hundreds of images of children, including some infants, engaged in sexual acts.
Milford police said that Fernandes agreed to speak with them and also admitted to possessing and disseminating the images, police said.
