MILFORD, MA — Milford police officers will begin giving rides to older adults to get coronavirus vaccines, according to acting Chief James Falvey and Milford Senior Center Director Sue Clark.

The free rides will be open to anyone over 75 who needs to get to a vaccine appointment either in Milford or surrounding towns like Hopkinton and Uxbridge — and the supersite at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

The rides are for residents who already have vaccine appointments. But seniors can call the Milford Senior Center at 508-473-8334 for help to set up an appointment.

Massachusetts opened vaccine eligibility to new groups on Thursday, but the Milford police program is only open to residents over 75 at the moment.
