Milford Police: Woman Attacked Near Bike Path on Medway Road

Saturday, Oct. 18
At 2:09 a.m., Milford police received a report of an unwanted person in a home on Country Club Lane.
At 8:11 a.m., an Oak Terrace resident reported that his garage door had been damaged.

At 11:20 a.m., police received a report that a woman had been attacked by a man carrying a backpack who then fled on foot down a bike path towards Milford on Medway Road near Hannaford. The man was described as having a beard and short, dark hair, being in his 20s and wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. The matter is being investigated.
At 3:15 p.m., a caller from Vassar Drive reported that her husband hit a gas line with a backhoe. The Milford Fire Department responded to investigate.

At 4:23 p.m., a caller reported that someone had called her claiming to be from Microsoft, but she did not give the caller any information.
At 4:56 p.m., a caller reported a car had been driving all over the road in the area of HIckey’s Liquors on East Main Street. The driver, according to police, had worked an overnight shift and was tired.
At 5 p.m., police received a report that a group of four to five kids had been throwing a basketball on cars and then said someone had been jumping up and down on cars and urinating on them. The youths had left the area by the time the caller reported the matter to police.
Sunday, Oct. 19
At 9:14 a.m., police arrested Jeremy Baez, 33, of Milford on a probation warrant.
At 12:03 p.m., officers responded to the Claflin Street area on a report that someone tried to start a fight with a male individual. Officers issued a summons to a 36-year-old Milford man for assault and battery.
At 12:12 p.m., a caller reported she had just struck a parked vehicle at Milford High School.
At 7:12 p.m., a caller reported to police of a hit-and-run accident on Chestnut Street.
