Milford Police: Woman Finds Three Stray Kittens in Basement

Monday, Oct. 13
At 1:26 a.m., a caller reported to Milford Police that an unwanted man was at his home on Congress Street. Officers responded and spoke with the man, who agreed to walk home from the scene.
At 7:54 a.m., officers responded to Congress Street where a man had been reportedly sitting on rocks with his head down and in his hands. Police determined the man had been waiting for a ride.

At 10:37 a.m., a caller reported that manhole cover had been out of place near Central Street and Beach Street. Officers responded and replaced the cover.
At 11:20 a.m., a caller reported finding three kittens in her basement. Two of the kittens were deceased with the third still alive. Police contacted and notified Animal Control.

At 12:38 p.m., a caller reported that a dog in the area of Ryan Road was trying to attack a cat. Animal Control was contacted and authorities were able to locate the dog’s owner.
At 6:25 p.m., Hopkinton police reported that a vehicle drove off the road prior to Exit 21a on Rte. I-495.
At 10:09 p.m., a caller reported that someone threw eggs at the front of her home on Lantern Lane, but was unsure of which direction in which the suspect left the area.
