Milford Power Restored For 4,000+ Who Were In Dark

Power was restored (mostly) for Milford customers, many of whom were in the dark on Thursday evening.

MILFORD, MA — More than 4,219 National Grid customers were without power around 5 p.m. on Thursday. The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency said that represents 32 percent of the customers.

The Milford outages represented about half of the roughly 9,600 outages across Massachusetts.

At 7:30 p.m., 3,317 were still without power in Milford, according to National Grid, which listed 10:30 p.m. as an estimated restore time. There are 12,990 National Grid customers in Milford.

By Friday, late morning, fewer than five customers were without power in Milford, according to National Grid. Those were expected to be restored by 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
