Milford School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Milford is August 30 for grades 1-12, September 5 for preschool and September 7 for kindergarten. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Milford Public School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/10: No School (Veterans Day Observed)
• 11/22 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/8: Early Release Day PreK-12
• 12/22: Vacation Begins at Close of School
• 12/25 - 1/1: No School (Vacation)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year’s Day)
• 1/2: School Resumes
• 1/12: Early Release PreK-12
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)
