Milford Store Sells $1,000-Per-Month Lottery Ticket

MILFORD, MA — A lucky Uxbridge woman won the $1,000-per-month prize on a scratch ticket purchased at a Milford store in March, according to lottery officials.

Diane DiLorenzo purchased the $2 scratch ticket at the Main Street Market, 315 Main St., near Milford Regional Medical Center. The prize means DiLorenzo would get $1,000 every month for 10 years.

Rather than waiting the full term, DiLorenzo chose a $78,000 lump sum award. Main Street Market will get a $1,200 bonus from the state for selling the winning ticket, according to lottery officials.
