Milford Water Ban Increases to State III
Water usage is restricted to a handheld hose for no more than 1 hour between the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The Milford Water Company has increased the town’s water ban to Stage III as of today. From the company’s website:
“Unfortunately Mother Nature has not been very cooperative and we are experiencing a rain deficit of over 4 inches compared to last year and the 30 year average. As we look at the current weather pattern Milford Water Company is increasing its current water restriction to a Stage III which restricts water usage to a handheld hose for no more than 1 hour between the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Irrigation systems, sprinklers and unattended hoses are not allowed to be used. The company wishes to thank you for your cooperation in this very important conservation effort and will keep you posted should things change.”
