Milford Wins State Title In Softball
The Milford Hawks softball team was victorious this weekend.
MILFORD, MA—The Milford Hawks stomped the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers over the weekend to clinch the state division 1 title in softball, winning 7-3 on June 17.
Milford beat Newton North in the semi-finals 3-0 to earn a spot at the finals. The Hawks went into the tournament with a 19-1 record, seeded second. The top seeded team, Silver Lake, lost to the Hawks in the South Division 1 finals.
