Milford Woman Wants To ID Hit-And-Run Driver

MILFORD, MA — A Milford woman is asking for help tracking down the driver who hit her while she was in a downtown crosswalk in December.

Irani De Lana was crossing near Main and Fayette streets on Dec. 29 at around 6 a.m. when she was hit by either a pickup truck or an SUV, according to the police log.

Lana shared a surveillance video of the hit-and-run with WHDH this week. She was severely injured in the collision suffering broken ribs, a punctured liver, a dislocated knee and herniated discs, according to the report. She was able to make it inside the Padaria Brasil bakery to call for help.
