More Than 2,000 In Milford Without Power: UPDATE
Milford is among the many communities hit across the state.

MILFORD, MA—An especially heavy snow in this newest nor'easter has caused power problems for multiple communities across the state, including Milford.
By 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, 2,015 of 12,816 were affected in Milford, marking 15 percent of the customers in the town, according to National Grid. This is a drop of about 1,000 customers since reported by Patch at 6 a.m. National Grid is "assessing the situation" and a restore time has not been announced.
More than 110,000 power customers were in the dark as of 1 a.m.., according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. Patch will be updating power outages throughout Thursday, so check back often. Southern Worcester County and the Merrimack Valley are seeing the worst of it.
