Multiple Cars Damaged In Milford Vandalism Spree
Cars in the vicinity of Water Street were tagged with orange spray paint, and police made a separate arrest for a series of tire slashings.
MILFORD, MA — Milford police are investigating a series of vandalism incidents that occurred overnight Thursday along several streets in the downtown area.
According to the police log, residents along Water Street awoke Thursday morning to find cars tagged with orange spray paint, including profanity written on at least one car. One car had its window smashed. More incidents were reported nearby on Hollis, Church and Grove streets.
About 12 hours later on Thursday night, a resident called police to report a woman walking down Main Street near Hollis Street slashing tires. Police arrested Anabela Moura, 40, and charged her with two counts of wanton destruction of property.

Milford Chief Michael Pighetti said Friday morning that the two incidents appear unrelated, but Milford detectives are investigating all the incidents.
"Should we identify a connection to the incidents from both days we will be filing additional charges against the person(s) responsible," Pighetti said in an email. "We are currently following solid leads and uncovering new information in our investigation."
