MYC Thanks Community for Donations

We Couldn't Do It Without You!

The Youth Center would like to extend a very appreciative thank you to the following list who donated items and/or their time this month to the Center:

  • Amazon and Ariea Byran for dropping off three carts of returned items to use for the Center and/or redistribute;
  • Jake Bersin and Pastor Christophe Akagla of the Mount of the Lord Church for their donation of cookies, breads, pies, muffins, and more all of which were in turn donated by local groceries stores including Stop & Shop and Whole Foods, which we were able to redistribute to Memorial's Grab N Go Food Program, Milford First Responders and Milford Senior Center;
  • Robin Pease for a donation of kitchen supplies;
  • Vicky Klima for donating a box of craft supplies including markers, construction paper, beads, and more;
  • Ron Taylor for a donation of a mirror for our dance room, book ends, and DVDs;
  • Aly West for her donation of 6 bags of gently used clothes;
  • Sandra Caproni for donating gift bags and cards for the senior center;
  • Erica Goncalves for her monetary donation and donation of cards, new soccer cleats, and some small toys;
  • Penelope Allen-Baltera for her donation of $25 toward one of our telethon raffle baskets;
  • Chuck Calagione for his unsolicited donation of $200;
  • Stephen R Pepe for his donation of $100 in memory of Pacifico DeCapua;
  • Jay Vaz for a $75 donation toward one of our telethon raffle baskets and donating craft kits and books;
  • Milford TV for creating and airing our Giving Tuesday feature and for sharing our virtual programming;
  • Hockomock Area YMCA and Milford Food Services for making our Grab N Go food program possible;
  • Jen from Infinite Pawz-Ibilities for working with Cora and the grant process to get her trained;
  • Olivia Sabini-Leite for coordinating the Blood Donor Center at Boston Children's Hospital to come to the Milford Youth Center;
  • All members of the community who signed up for and participated in the blood drive; The blood drive was a huge success with all appointments filled. We look forward to hosting more in the future!
