Police Log: Urinating Man Not Invited Back, Rotted Food Hits Air Conditioner

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, June 3

1:02 p.m.: National Grid was contacted about live wires being down on West Fountain Street.

4:42 p.m.: Police received a call reporting a crash at Beaver and Maple streets; one vehicle was in the woods and two were in the road. The Fire Department and Community Ambulance responded.

5:19 p.m.: Police received a call for a woman in custody for shoplifting at Kohl's. Rosa Agualema Duchi, 19, of 4 N. Bow St., Apt. 2, Milford, was arrested and charged with shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise.

5:51 p.m.: A woman from Pheasant Circle said she let her daughter borrow her motor vehicle, and she wanted it back but the daughter would not bring it back.

6:34 p.m.: The Fire Department responded to a fire at 206 E. Main St. There was light smoke upon firefighters' arrival. Firefighters determined there was a fire in the stove; they put it out, and there was extensive water damage. Officials requested the Highway Department bring a sander as grease was running into the road.

8:37 p.m.: A resident went to the Police Department to report that the person who had taken a harrassment order out on him was not harrassing him.

9:48 p.m.: A man was reported to be outside of Auto Go, 7 Charles River Rd., causing a disturbance over the fees he owed. The caller said he was breaking items. Police responded and spoke to both parties; there was no damage.

10:57 p.m.: A caller from Middleton Street reported there was a man who was not supposed to be at that location, and she saw his Volvo parked out front. Police confirmed there was no violation of the harrassment order, which had expired earlier in the day.

Tuesday, June 4

12:06 a.m.: Tedeschi's on Main Street reported they kicked out a male named Gus, and then he proceeded to urinate in the street and walk down North Bow Street. Police did not find the man but spoke with the caller, who was going to be advising Gus he was no longer allowed on the property.

6:29 a.m.: A caller from Pheasant Circle reported her daughter was refusing to go to school.

8:51 a.m.: Police reported a large pothole in front of Valero Gas Station at 124 E. Main St. The Highway Department was notified.

9:55 a.m.: A man went to the Police Department to report his wallet was lost. The wallet contained his license, medical marijuana card and FID card. The wallet was found while the man was in the lobby.

10:22 a.m.: A silver Trek bike was reported stolen from a shed on High Street.

11:03 a.m.: A caller from Purchase Street reported her upstairs neighbors threw a bag of rotted food out of their window and it hit her air conditioning unit.

12:11 p.m.: Hunter F. Carroll, 33, of 55 E. Main St., Apt. 2, Milford, was arrested and charged on a warrant from Milford District Court.
