Residents With Unregistered Dogs Will Face Fees: Milford
The last day to register a dog with the town is June 28.
MILFORD, MA — Time to get registration papers in is running out for Milford dog owners. The town announced on Tuesday, the last day to register a dog in the town is at 5 p.m. on June 28 in the Town Clerks officer or by June 30 online.
Milford bylaws and state laws require dogs over six months-years-old to be registered. Those who miss the registration date will face a $10 late fee. Dogs with a late fee will cost $35 to register and spayed/neutered dogs will cost $16 to register, including the late fee.
Time is also running out to enter into the town's Top Dog contest and get free 2020 dog licensing registration. To enter the contest, you must license your dog before June 30 and send the Town Clerk a photo of your pup along with his or her name, your information and contact info. Winners will be announced on July 1. The runner up will get a doggy gift basket.
